MJ

Im sure many of you, like me, have been ravenously following the MJ trial. After all, it isnt every day you get to see a complete freak show finally being put on trial for being an honorary member of NAMBLA. As Ive been reading about it however, there have been several things that have really turned my stomach- and Im not talking about Michael Jackson fondling young boys- I think weve all found that to be a pill very easily swallowed, given the complete absurdity that is Michael Jackson. Im talking about the parents. Apparently, for years and years now, MJ has been having kids and their families over to Neverland, taking them on tour with him, buying them gifts, paying for tuition, etc etc etc. The list goes on and on. And these parents, in return, were letting their children sleep in the same bed with Michael Jackson. I know several of you are parents. And for those who arent, imagine for a moment that you are: Would you let your nine year-old son share a bed with a grown man? Take away the money, the vacations, the fame, and assume that MJ was just an ordinary guy who worked as a file clerk or a bus driver. Would you let your kid share a bed with him? OF COURSE NOT. And if you answered yes, Child Services will be knocking on your door very shortly to remove said children from your custody. I guess last week the mothers of two of the children the prosecution claims to have been molested by Jackson testified that nothing ever happened. The second woman, asked if she allowed her son to sleep in Jackson's bed, responded, "Why not?" Well, Ill tell you why not, you lousy excuse for a parent: ITS INSANE!! Both mothers claim that MJ was just a good friend of the family. Yes, just a friend of the family who also happened to moved the family to the United States from Australia, signed their 10 year old son to a business deal paying him 10,000 dollars, and having him appear in two of MJs music videos. A Friend of the family who would give them trips to Vegas and let them go on tour with him, just so long as their son got to sleep with him.
There is just something really upsetting when you hear about parents who willingly prostitute their children for a little touch of fame and a flush bank account. There is no way in hell you could ever convince me their parents didnt know, on some level, that Michael was up to some shady shit with their kids. Even if he didnt molest them, that kind of closeness with a grown man is just not healthy. Yet these parents allowed their children to spend the night with him. To me, that is the personification of greed. When youre willing to put money before your own childs well being, you no longer deserve to be a parent. There was a lady in Florida not too long ago who was arrested for forcing her young teenage daughters into prostitution. She did this to fuel her drug habit. For obvious reasons, she no longer has custody of her children. I dont really see much difference in what this crack addict did and what these gold diggers allowed to happen with MJ. At first I found it shocking that there were still parents willing to let their children stay with MJ even after the first flurry of molestation charges came forward years and years ago. But then I realized that the parents really didnt care about that. Its truly amazing what these people were able to turn a blind eye to when mountains of green were being shoved in their faces. I guess what it really boils down to is that I blame MJ for doing it less than I blame the parents for letting him. They are the ones who should be put on trial. Dont get me wrong- Jackson needs to spend the better part of the rest of his life behind bars tossing someones salad and having his shit pushed in. but filing charges against MJ for molesting your son is like charging a junky with drug use after youve handed them a syringe full of heroine.
