ranting again....sorry.

So Im sure youre all just DYING for me to weigh in on the Michael Jackson verdict, so let me just say this: All of you out there who are enraged and calling for blood need a reality check. None of us were in the courtroom, and none of us heard the testimony, so none of us is in any position to question the collective intelligence of the jury. These werent a bunch of Neanderthals or inbred West Virginia rednecks- they were every day people like you and I. They sat there for weeks on end and listened, and this was their decision. When you boil it down, it was basically just he-said-she-said bullshit going back and forth. The prosecution had no hard evidence that MJ did anything wrong, so you cant fault the jury for concluding there was reasonable doubt. "We actually challenged one another in the deliberation room," said Juror No. 1, a 62-year-old man from Santa Maria, later identified as Raymond Hultman. "We challenged the issues, and we came to the decision that pointed to reasonable doubt." Later, in an interview on "Larry King Live," Hultman said he believes Jackson "probably has molested boys. I can't believe that this man could sleep in the same bedroom for 365 straight days and not do something more than just watch television and eat popcorn," he said. "I mean that doesn't make sense to me, but that doesn't make him guilty of the charges that were presented in this case and that's where we had to make our decision."
So everyone needs to stop rolling their eyes at the jurys decision and accept it for what it is. Now, all of that being said, I think the fucker is guilty as sin. Maybe not of all out molestation, but Id bet my right nut there was some shady shit going on inside his bedroom.
In better news, Terri Schiavos autopsy came out today, and it basically says that roughly half of her brain was completely gone, and there was no way any amount of therapy would have made it grow back. So stick that in your pipe and smoke it, Dr Frist. The gall that fucker had to sit back and watch 10 minutes of edited video footage and declare in his expert medical opinion that Terri wasnt brain dead and then to have the audacity to get Congress involved to have her feeding tube re-inserted still makes my blood boil. Oh, so you think youre better qualified to diagnose her condition over 10 minutes of videotape than the doctors who have been monitoring her in person for the past 15 years? Or perhaps youre just sniffing out a possible political opportunity to get up on your moral high horse and declare to the world that democrats are godless death peddlers simply because they dont see the reason for the Federal Government to get involved in matter already decided upon by the state of Florida. If you wanted to keep practicing medicine, why did you run for that Senate seat, you glib fuck? Leave medicine to the doctors, and theyll leave all of the shady, pork laden, lobbyist ass-kissing, corporate handjob giving, judicial autonomy stripping, Christian propaganda peddling political bullshit to you. Given the results of Terri's autopsy, it seems to be what your best at.
